Sweeper 2nd Shift

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Sweeper 2nd Shift at our Euclid, Ohio plant facility! The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. Core hours for 2nd shift are 3:30pm - 12am, Monday - Friday.  The hourly rate for this position is $26.50 plus $1/hr shift differential per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.    This role will be open to the first 100 applicants.  What you’ll do: 
 •    Perform housekeeping and other maintenance related duties as assigned by supervision. •    Perform various duties such as minor painting, sweeping, and removing dirt and litter from factory areas, remove chips and turnings from machines and tooling.   •    Assistance may be given to other operators on proper operational procedures. Job Responsibilities: •    Operate any vehicular power-driven floor cleaning equipment. Check oil and fuel levels and replenish when necessary.  Change brushes when necessary.   •    Communicate any problems with the equipment to the supervisor or repairman. •    Perform various duties in cleaning machines, sump and storage tanks, and dust collectors. •    Use mops, tubs, brooms, and dry scrubbers to clean floors.  Operate sump pump and vacuum equipment to remove contents of sediment tanks and oil pans. •    Use solutions, sponges, brushes, chamois, squeegees, low ladders, and polishes to clean walls, glass, metal, plumbing fixtures and partitions. •    Use a hand rake and shovel to withdraw chips and random scrap pieces of metal from pans of machines into hand propelled chip buggies.  •    Spread oil absorbent on floor surfaces.  Use items such as sandpaper, scrapers, scoops, strong solvents, etc. Qualifications: 
 Required Qualifications: •    High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.  •    Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, Ohio; no relocation benefit is provided.  •    This position requires access to export-controlled information.
