Standard Job Description You will be a Cyber Security Engineer, Embedded in the Program Protection Organization. Our organization oversees all aspects of Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity across Missiles and Fire Control. What You Will Be Doing
As the Cyber Security Engineer You will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing anti-tamper and embedded cybersecurity solutions across Missiles and Fire Control’s deliverable products. Your responsibilities will include: • Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems • Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle • Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for embedded Weapon Systems • Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software • Designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining state of the art System Security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products • Prototyping and testing System Security countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks against Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Weapon System products • Integrate yourself amongst Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to define and integrate System Security Engineering into a wide range of high integrity, security and safety-critical Systems * For a level 4, we typically look for 9 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or 7 years of experience with a related Master’s degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.* Why Join Us Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? Further Information About This Opportunity: MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start. Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle. Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions. Coordinates and addresses Supply Chain risk management concerns. Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain. Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions. Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application. Implements appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.
