JOB SUMMARY
The Business Support Analyst position is responsible for supporting the timekeeping application by providing support to timekeepers, supervisors and managers across companies. The team provides customer service, time related guidance of time entry for new hires, terminations, system transfers, rehires, and other timekeeping functions related to company policies and FLSA standards. This position provides additional support for system issues, system upgrades, and regression testing. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Communications, Information Systems or related field Minimum 2-3 years work experience in payroll, customer service, and/or timekeeping support. Oracle HCM, Payroll, Time and Labor strongly desired Experience with interpreting benefit policies related to time entry desired Experience with applying Labor laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act desired Experience processing and analyzing union contracts and time records for union employees Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be analytical, detail oriented, process driven, and comfortable with a highly structured team environment. Works well under pressure with rigid timelines. Knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, and HR systems – as well as vendor systems and interfaces Ability to handle multiple tasks, processes and projects timely and accurately Proficiency required in desktop applications including Microsoft Office Must possess excellent customer service skills along with the ability to anticipate problems or concerns, and demonstrate a strong track record of effectively resolving complex problems and responding in a timely manner Ability to successfully deal with challenging customers and support difficult situations while delivering exceptional customer service is a key attribute of this position MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with other teams within Payroll Services, HR Service Center, and other organizations across the system in order to achieve time sensitive processing deadlines Ensure the accurate and timely processing of team reports and payroll functions Operate in compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines Participate, as part of a team, in job rotation/rotating roles Provide ACD helpline coverage and ticket management along with process and system support Utilize effective communications and networking to maintain a team environment Perform other payroll duties as assigned Behavioral Attributes Models Our Values of Safety First, Intentional Inclusion, Act with Integrity and Superior Performance.
