 OVERVIEW Function GIC Sales & Commercial Capabilities team partners with our global General Mills sales teams in providing them with analytical horsepower and enable business continuity so they can focus on core activities – Selling, driving distribution gains and optimizing merchandising plans to deliver sales volume targets. We enable customer pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming. We are a family of Data analysts, Business analysts and Sr. Analysts with diverse opinions, cultures and passions and are united by our desire to serve the world by making food people love. Role
This role serves as the primary steward of the North America Foodservice business’ connected data ecosystem that fuels critical Sales and Marketing capabilities. This role will play a hands-on role in maintaining data quality, timeliness and usability for stakeholders. The focus will be on procuring and harmonizing external data sources with our internal company data. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Pull monthly operator data from customer portals (9 sources) Validate/reconcile all customer sources are providing data on time Recurring Operator matching and harmonization Utilize tactical data quality reporting and remediate issues Manage User Input files for product attribution Transform/Standardize multiple data sources to enable seamless ingestion to GCP Co-Manage Salesforce Account proposals (add workflow to transfer difficult or SAP accounts to Eric) Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies by using automation/AI Skills/Experience: Basic systematic aptitude Attention to detail Data entry, hygiene & management experience Organizational skills Basic reporting/analytical skills Hands-on-keyboard willingness Ability to troubleshoot & connect dots Demonstrated ability to deduce actions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred 1-2 years of relevant Business Reporting or Analytics experience in CPG (or related) industry Experience working with data, reporting, and business tools Ability to simplify processes, identify root causes, and support sustainable improvements Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and levels of the organization PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Ability to manage high-volume transactional work while meeting deadlines Strong written communication and follow-up discipline Comfort triaging requests and determining when to resolve versus escalate Ability to work across teams and time zones Working knowledge of SAP pricing processes Financial and administrative discipline related to payments and documentation
