What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will be at the forefront of Trimble’s AI initiative, embedding intelligent capabilities directly into core enterprise tools to eliminate technical debt, simplify complex architectures, and reshape how our global team works every day. Key Exciting Responsibilities: Architect, build, and maintain high-performance web servers, robust APIs, and integration layers across modern back-end stacks. Orchestrate and securely embed AI capabilities and third-party products directly into critical enterprise workflows. Partner with cross-functional, non-technical teams to translate ambiguous business goals into logical, high-impact technical solutions. Design and implement secure authorization and authentication workflows using enterprise identity frameworks. Simplify complex architectures to prevent technical debt and ensure sustainable scalability. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven production-level experience delivering reliable, high-performing applications using Python and TypeScript. Deep working knowledge of OAuth2 and enterprise identity providers such as Okta. Demonstrated experience integrating, reading, and implementing solutions against dense third-party API specifications like Workday. Strong proficiency in managing automated deployment pipelines and continuous integration workflows. Excellent communication skills with a track record of collaborating effectively with non-engineering stakeholders. Bonus Points For: Experience working with specialized technologies in artificial intelligence, robotics, or extended reality (XR). Proven ability to rapidly pivot between different codebases, frameworks, and system requirements with minimal friction.
