Job Description

This job is responsible for managing employees who drive the client credit relationship, including the full credit process and leading parts of the credit deal lifecycle such as application, structuring, approval, due diligence, documentation, closing, and monitoring. Key responsibilities include partnering with business teams, providing credit expertise, and ensuring policy compliance, data accuracy, and timely execution. Job expectations include managing Senior Credit Specialists and Analysts. The role leads a credit support team partnering with senior Credit Officers across Asset Managers and Hedge Funds, helping deliver robust underwriting support, portfolio monitoring and well-controlled execution across traded products.

Responsibilities

Models an inclusive environment for employees and clients, aligned to company Great Place to Work goals Demonstrates deep process knowledge, operational excellence and innovation through a focus on simplicity, data based decision making and continuous improvement Communicates enterprise decisions, purpose, and results, and connects to team strategy, priorities and contributions Ensures proper risk discipline, controls and culture are in place to identify, escalate and debate issues Provides inspection, coaching and feedback to motivate, differentiate and improve performance, while assessing talent and building bench strength for roles across the organization Actively manages expenses and budgets in alignment with objectives, making sound financial decisions Delivers results by effectively prioritizing, inspecting and appropriately delegating team work Manage, coach and develop a team of Credit Support Associates, setting clear priorities and expectations.  Oversee day-to-day underwriting support, monitoring and portfolio management activity for traded product portfolios.  Act as the senior escalation point for complex credit support, control, data quality and execution issues.  Partner with Credit Officers, Operations and other stakeholders to support accurate trade booking, lifecycle management, pre-closing and post-closing activity.  Managerial Responsibilities: This position may also have responsibilities for managing associates.
