This is a great opportunity to work in the Commercial Airplanes South Carolina Design Center, as a Structures Technical Designer.

Develops and maintains engineering product definition. Prepares design layouts and modifies existing designs. Develops engineering product definition. Develops statements of work, including design requirements, cost and schedule estimates. Coordinates and develops work transfer packages. Contributes to the integration of product definition across internal and external business partners to provide a functional end-product. Investigates and resolves moderately-complex manufacturing process, or engineering related issues. Verifies accuracy of engineering data produced by others.

(Required Skills/ Experience): Associates of Science in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) with 5+ years of experience in the engineering industry OR High School Diploma with 7+ years of experience in the engineering industry 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining engineering product definition 3+ years of experience using CAD Tools Experience performing investigations and data collection in support of root cause corrective action (RCCA) activities Experience with technical writing   Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 9+ years of experience in the engineering industry with an Associates in Science as described in the Basic Qualifications OR 11+ years of experience in the engineering industry with a High School Diploma Lead experience in developing and maintaining engineering product definition. Lead experience with design layout development. Lead experience performing engineering product definition reviews.
