About This Role This position is for a recognized master in Program Management, who leads medium to large-sized programs and drives strategic planning efforts. Spearheads solutions for program problems, and manages multiple efforts and program budgets.
Job Description
Program Planning and Execution: Develop detailed program plans; managing resources and dependencies across products, platforms and regions, ensuring successful execution.
Team
Leadership: Lead, motivate and mentor program and project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure project goals are met. Budget Management: Monitor program and project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures. Advocate for additional funding when necessary. Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including team members, senior leadership and executives. Provide updates on program and project progress and address any issues that arise. Risk/Issue Management: Identify potential risks or issues and develop mitigation strategies and corrective action plans to ensure program/project success. Quality Control: Perform project quality checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure CST project management standards are maintained. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including program plans, reports, proposals, change requests and meeting minutes Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 10+ years of experience in project or program management 3+ years of experience in software development and release train engineering Preferred Experience: Strong program leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.). Familiarity with project management processes (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, Kanban, etc.) PMP certification is a plus. Strong team management skills Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills Ability to interact constructively with diverse teams, including international Can navigate competing priorities, sometimes conflicting priorities Willingness to travel as needed to oversee programs, projects and meet with stakeholders. Strong project management tool knowledge and practical application experience Strong project management skills with ability to think ahead, anticipate potential problems, and proactively drive project execution Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and release train process Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
