HII (Huntington Ingalls Industries) seeks an experienced Corporate Tax Analyst 2. Responsibilities include
Assist in preparation of international, federal, state and local corporate income tax returns in compliance with applicable tax laws. Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including reconciliation and roll-forward of deferred tax accounts. Support tax workflows to include the Annual Operating Plan, Indicated Final Forecasting, Forward Pricing Rate Proposal and Transfer Pricing Reports. Assist in implementing tax department automation and technology initiatives. Assist with improvements to tax department processes and other special projects.

Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics, plus at least 3 years of related experience, preferably with global public accounting, corporate tax and/or accounting at a defense contractor or agency; Master’s Degree and 1 year of relevant professional experience. Nice to Have
Big 4 or large corporate tax experience Experience preparing income tax returns for large corporations. International tax return preparation experience, both domestic (8858, 5471, 8992, 8993, etc.) and foreign country corporate income tax returns. Preparation experience of international tax workpapers for FDII, GILTI, BEAT, and Pillar II Experience with data analysis, including Power BI and Alteryx Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with OneSource Income Tax Compliance, CSC Corptax, Longview Tax Provision, and BNA Fixed Asset Software. Experience with SAP, CostPoint, and Central Finance accounting systems and related applications Experience with tax research services, such as Checkpoint and BNA. Knowledge of the provisions and application of ASC 740, Income Tax Accounting.
