As a PDP Engineer for John Deere Engine Works  located in Waterloo, IA , you will:

Lead and support assembly departments in implementing new engine programs. Develop manufacturing processes, line designs, capital projects, and program management activities. Establish Sequence of Events (SOE), manufacturing methods, layouts, and tooling. Lead capital investment projects for assembly. Implement mistake-proofing in assembly processes. Support EPDP activities. Participate in DPAR reviews and PFMEA activities. Support change management within Engine Works Assembly. Create and maintain SAP routings and bills of material. Work with operations teams to resolve process issues. Create visual aids. Specify and purchase assembly equipment such as torque tools, fixtures, manipulators, and hand tools. Maintain and interact with factory automation systems.

2+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience. 2+ years of DC electric torque tool experience. 2+ years of SAP experience. 2+ years of Manufacturing Execution Systems experience. 2+ years using quality tools such as PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics.  What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with programmable logic controllers Controls engineering Data analytics Project leadership  Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology
