Overview Citi is looking for a Director of Applications Development to lead the Customer Management domain within the Banking Operations organization, a function at the heart of Citi's customer management technology across Retail Banking, Wealth Technology and Mortgage. In this role, you will direct a team of engineering professionals, own a portfolio of technology investments, and shape the architectural direction of platforms that millions of customers depend on. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced technology executive ready to drive business growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation at scale within a global financial institution. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who excels at building, mentoring, and unifying teams of managers and engineers . Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization of professionals across multiple technical teams, setting clear direction on roles, accountability structures, and performance standards to maximize delivery effectiveness. Own the architectural vision for the Customer Management domain, overseeing the design and evolution of systems spanning SOR platforms, Salesforce integrations, and Next-Generation Architecture built on Angular, Microservices, and Artificial Intelligence. Manage a complex portfolio of 50+ active technology investments, balancing competing priorities across Retail Banking, Wealth Technology and Mortgage business lines to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
