BRANCH MANAGER OTIS CAPE TOWN

Location: Allen Place, Plattekloof, 1, 7500, Cape Town, South Africa Join a stable and growing industry with real opportunities for professional development.   At OTIS, a leading multinational company in the elevator industry, we are looking for a Cape Town Branch Manager .   The purpose of the position is to assume overall responsibility and accountability for optimizing all branch resources to deliver services to customers in line with contractual obligations and to achieve branch targets.

FINANCE Achieve O sales targets and margins. Achieve T sales targets and margins. Achieve S sales targets and margins. Achieve NE sales targets and margins. Achieve or exceed the SGA target. Grow the service portfolio. Achieve receivables targets (O, T, S, NE). Manage field labor costs, including subcontractors. Manage material allocation and usage (O, T, NE sales), including tax, ASD, and transportation costs. Adhere to and ensure implementation of company purchasing policies and procedures. CUSTOMERS Retain customer contracts/accounts. Retain and strengthen relationships with stakeholders (including professional teams). Maximize customer satisfaction. Build strong customer relationships. Promote the branch through customer visits and relationship-building activities. INTERNAL PROCESSES (SALES) Manage the sales team to ensure company targets are achieved. Convert tenders/proposals into service orders. Finalize proposals for New Equipment (NE) enquiries. Ensure compliance with sales processes. INTERNAL PROCESSES (FIELD OPERATIONS) Ensure implementation and compliance with the Programmed Maintenance System. Ensure completion of surveys and action items. Monitor the operation of units during QOP. Control subcontractor performance and delivery. Ensure proper execution of planned maintenance and breakdown repairs. Ensure adequate tooling, spare parts, and operational resources are available. Manage construction sites in line with company margin objectives and project close-out requirements. Oversee material delivery and site execution in collaboration with the Project Manager. Ensure employees comply with OTIS Absolutes: Safety, Ethics, and Quality. Promote ethical behavior and strong internal controls within the team and with customers. Ensure compliance with and management of all OTIS safety procedures within the branch.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related field is highly preferred.   7- 10 years experience in the lift industry or the similar industry would be beneficial   What we offer: Long-term career opportunities in a stable, global industry.
