Role
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to design and oversee the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions for IBM MAS 9. As a Technical Architect, you will work closely with the rest of Tech Arch team as well as cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure that architectural designs align with business goals and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
Non-functional requirements design/build/test Planning of Maximo (MAS9) disaster recovery test, coordinating the execution of disaster recovery test with client and other vendors Environment planning, understanding dependencies/inter dependencies by working closely with client and other vendors Responsible for defining monitoring parameters of Maximo application, including infrastructure, operational and security monitoring, and alerting Lead/guide onshore and offshore team members with some of daily activities Being able to support multiple teams including test, deployment, conversion, and change management in with their environment’s requirements or troubleshooting Tune JVMs and their parameters for better performance, JMS setup and tuning Work with client security team to remediate potential security vulnerabilities at web and application layer Requirements Experience with Maximo integration technologies (MIF, MEA, Object structures, services, channels, etc.) Experience working in agile software development environments. Experience working on multiple projects and multi-tasking Experience with Azure, DevOps Experience in Maximo integration with other applications. Experience with database turning, being able to read/analyze AWR report and make recommendations Must have solid experience with Maximo set up and configuration. Must know Server clustering, Load Balancing, HTTP server configuration, App Server Configuration. Must have the ability to manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in assigned program. Experience with operating systems, networking, and firewall concepts Experience with security (SSL, data encryption, system user accounts, directory servers) Experience with web protocols including HTTP, SMTP and LDAP Knowledge of query languages like SQL/PLSQL English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders
