Raytheon Software Engineering is looking for a Software Engineer II to join the Air C2 (Command and Control) and Sensors software department in Fullerton, California. Our Culture | RTX Careers What you will do: The Air C2 SW product teams develop Command and Control mission critical applications and leverage DevSecOps processes along with best industry practices to meet the threats of today and tomorrow. Perform as a key contributor working as part of a high performing Software Product Team.  Participate in software C2 software application design, implementation, test and maintenance.  Collaborate in a cross-functional / Agile environment Travel up to 25% Qualifications you must have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development, and Java application development. Experience with databases as part of the software solution. Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required. U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

We Prefer: Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional teams. Knowledgeable in JavaScript / TypeScript, with experience in building dynamic and responsive frontend UI applications. Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React, and a solid understanding component-based architecture. Experience with one or more scripting languages Experience with reactive programming paradigms and frameworks for building scalable, event-driven applications.
