Forward-Deployed Solutions Engineer The Opportunity:   We are seeking a lead sales engineer with deep expertise in cyber defense products such as defensive cyber operations, malware reverse engineering, detection engineering, or threat hunting, and enterprise-grade solution architecture to support and drive complex sales e nga gements. This role combines technical execution with executive-level communication, acting as a t rus ted advisor to security, incident response, and threat intelligence teams. This role requires partnership with technical and business stakeholders across private and public sectors to support strategic solutioning and seamless integration of cyber products in the customer’s environment.   You will guide technical input for proposals  related to our cyber product portfolio, deliver compelling demos, and ensure seamless sales-to-delivery transitions.  Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizen ship is required . What You’ll Work On:   Serve as the primary technical authority for cyber products in market-facing e nga gements and support solution design during enterprise sales cycles. Deliver high‑impact demos and technical presentations showcasing scalability, security, and integration of our cyber products across private and public sector markets. Support competitive technical positioning against other competing products and solutions. Support formal enterprise procurement processes, including proposals, architecture reviews, and security assessments. Articulate differentiators and guide negotiations. Collaborate with product, engineering, and market teams to deliver market feedback and requests and influence product roadmap and market analysis. Act as a technical advisor to customers during evaluation and early adoption phases in partnership with market teams. Support post-sale customer success, troubleshooting, sales renewal, and upgrades within the cyber product portfolio. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have:    5+ years of experience  in technical pre-sales or solution architecture 4+ years of experience leading enterprise e nga gements  3+ years of experience  architecting, implementing, and integrating enterprise-scale security architectures across endpoints, identity, networks, and cloud environments, including analyzing security tele met ry to improve detection, alerting, and response behavior  3+ years of experience  working closely with security operations teams to support investigation workflows, alert triage, and operational decision-making 2+ years of experience  performing technical work such as engineering sof tware products, developing full-stack applications, deploying services, configuring operating systems, or building and maintaining test or production environments  Experience with AWS or Azure, container orchestration such as Kubernetes, ECS, or ACA, and CI / CD tooling such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Flux Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have:   Experience supporting Fortune 500 regulated industry customers and the public sector  Experience integrating malware analysis platforms into SIEM, SOAR, or MDR environments  Experience integrating and operating detection engineering and threat hunting solutions  Experience with sof tware engineering, including programming in Python, Java, or C / C++ and building application integrations such as RESTful API gateway services Experience with automated testing and workflow optimization  Knowledge of AIOps, MLOps, ModelOps, or DataOps patterns  Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills Master’s degree  Completion of GREM, OSCE, or SANS FOR / RE Course Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
