Government & Capital Property Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Government & Capital Property Manager to support the team in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities: Manages employees who develop, coordinate and implement property management and control activities Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. (Required Skills/Experience) : Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Bachelor’s degree or higher 3+ years of experience with materials management 3+ years of building stakeholder and customer relationships Experience interfacing and dealing directly with government customers Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) : 1+ years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions 1+ years of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts 1+ years of experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance Experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal development Professional certification issues by the National Property Management Association (NPMA) Experience with GOLD Property Management Systems or similar system Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
