The Role
Your role The Human Resources Business Partner is a senior HR leader accountable for shaping and executing the people strategy within a defined country. This role partners closely with country and market leaders, global HR Partners, and HR Centers of Excellence to translate business priorities into practical, compliant, and measurable people outcomes. Success in this role is demonstrated through clear workforce plans, consistent execution of HR programs, strong employee engagement, and effective risk management aligned to local labor requirements. What you will do •Own and execute the country people strategy, aligning workforce priorities with business objectives and financial plans •Act as the primary HR partner to country and market leadership, providing structured advice on talent, engagement, organization design, and performance topics •Own country HR policies and processes, ensuring consistent application and continuous improvement •Provide local expert guidance on complex employee relations, performance management, and workforce change matters •Ensure compliance with country legislation and labor law, proactively identifying and mitigating people related risks •Partner with global HR Partners and HR Centers of Excellence to deploy talent, learning, diversity, workforce planning, and total rewards programs •Translate global HR programs into locally relevant execution plans with clear ownership, timelines, and outcomes •Use workforce data and insights to inform decision making, scenario planning, and leadership discussions •Drive a consistent HR operating rhythm across the country, ensuring stakeholders receive proactive and timely HR support Who You Are Required skills and experience •Extensive experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role supporting a defined geography •Proven ownership of country level HR processes, policies, and workforce initiatives •Strong working knowledge of local labor law and employment legislation, with experience managing compliance and risk •Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders on talent, engagement, performance, and organizational change •Experience partnering with global HR teams and Centers of Excellence to execute enterprise programs locally •Ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into clear actions and recommendations •Experience supporting complex employee relations and change scenarios in a structured and consistent way Preferred skills and experience •Experience supporting a technology or professional services organization •Exposure to large scale workforce transformation or restructuring initiatives •Experience operating in a matrixed, global organization •Familiarity with strategic workforce planning and scenario modeling Being You The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
