Job Description
Shift: Night - Monday – Friday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Shift Premium Amount: $0.75 Pay Rate: $24.00 This position requires oversight of all aspects of the materials, shipping and receiving department, including personnel, machinery troubleshooting, builds, and procedures, etc. The Team Performance Leader (TPL) is accountable for leading daily operations with the management team as needed to meet performance goals. The position will coordinate tasks by communicating priorities as well as ensuring tasks are completed with an emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity. This role will also be responsible for setting and meeting continuous improvement objectives, monitoring the performance of the team, and taking appropriate actions when an individual or team is not meeting goals in attendance, safety, productivity, and quality. Responsibilities • Oversees and manages all aspects of materials management including shipping and receiving under the direction of the Materials and Inventory Manager • Trains/builds morale/dispatches work to employees • Reports and communicates with Materials and Inventory Manager, Safety Manager, HR Manager, and Director of Operations regarding issues, root cause analysis, action plans, and follow-up • Sets up and manages production schedules and prioritizes workload • Communicates to all levels of site management • Provides leadership and management to the department resources including the people, equipment, material, and processes to resolve issues • Ensures adherence to all safety protocols including LOTO, Electrical Safety, Forklift Safety, and all other company mandated safety programs • Maintains a clean and safe work environment • Helps to open/Close facility as needed • Ability to work individually and within a team with minimal direction and guidance from manager • Solid organization, management, and planning skills • Strong work ethic and attention to detail • Maintains a professional attitude • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned Qualifications
• 4+ years of progression in manufacturing leadership positions of growing responsibility, with a preference for experience in shipping/receiving • High School Diploma or GED, required; Technical or associate’s degree, preferred • Experience working in a manufacturing facility, required • Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Familiar with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Experience with SAP Concur, preferred • Demonstrated commitment to safety • Fed Ex and UPS shipping experience • Ability to speak, read, and write English • Positive work history with the ability to manage multiple tasks • Ability to work a minimum of 40+ hours a week, M-F, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am, overtime as needed Benefits and Perks 401(k)
