We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services. Job Summary MOR PPM Inc. seeks a Fleet Manager in Society Hill, SC.
The fleet Manager directs, supervises, and coordinates the maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles and specialized equipment in operation to provide cost effective, safe and reliable services. Reports directly to Procurement / Fleet Director and serves as their backup as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure policies and procedures are followed and kept up to date. Manage all aspects of PPM vehicles. Maintain PPM rolling stock spreadsheet. Ensure fleet is maintained, serviced, and inspected. Ensure all tag renewals and licenses of new vehicles are current. Manages fuel account. Removal / addition of new drivers. Managing issues with cards or fuel codes through WEX. Provide monthly fuel purchases with Procurement / Fleet Director for review. Review reports of unauthorized purchases and discuss with Procurement / Fleet Director. Manage the “How’s my Driving” program. Removal / addition of employees. Ensuring all call ins are followed through on by management. Manage fleet approved drivers list. Manage approved driver’s spreadsheet, work with Procurement / Fleet Director to keep up to date. Review MVR’s to ensure all drivers are either approved or denied. Review Samba daily for suspensions and violations. Work with Procurement Director to ensure proper vehicle assignments and notify accounting of any changes to be entered into JDE. Manage Geotab devices and all installation. Manage ELD devices and installation. Ensure compliance with FMCSA. Continuously monitor Safer Scores and drivers’ logs for violations. Follow up on any driver violations to ensure proper corrective action. Ensure policies and procedures are being followed with continuous monitoring. Pay Quarterly IFTA taxes. Keep MCS-150 up to date. Annual IRP taxes. Work with Safety for DOT Drug testing. Ensure all drivers selected are tested with in the testing window. Assist with overseeing warehouse functions to ensure efficient operation including but not limited to supporting loading and off loading of tooling and equipment Maintain all drug test forms, file and keep accurate records per FMCS guidelines. Obtain all truck OSOW permits. Work with dispatch to Ensure proper weight and size permits are being ordered. Assist with annual permits. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Working knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word and Excel). Strong planning and multitasking skills. Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility and professionalism. Strong written and verbal communication skills. CDL Required
