Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:30am - 4:30pm
OVERVIEW
Working as Industrial Services Quality Assurance you will support the facility by working closely with all departments to promote the production of conforming products and assist in the continuous improvement of the quality management system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Performing internal audits
o Assisting with the control of quality management system documentation
o Communicating key performance indicators to management
o Coordinating quality related information for monthly reporting
o Communicating with customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
o Working closely with production to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
o Improving key performance metrics such as on-time delivery and non-conformance rate
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess at least 1 year of manufacturing, quality, engineering or industrial sales work experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient computer skills
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
o Prior work experience in inspection tools and equipment
o Experience reading blueprints
o Experience working in an ISO 9001 or TS 16949 environment
