Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist Location: Houston, TX (Katy, TX area) Salary: $88,000 - $135,000 Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week or 9/80 schedule T he Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for executing strategic sourcing activities in support of Corporate Services & Operations. What You’ll Do Lead category sourcing activities supporting corporate and operations organizations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate long-term contracts that optimize costs and ensure reliable service. Manage and administer existing agreements, including amendments, extensions, issue resolution, and SAP and SMS updates. Manage quality, service, and product performance processes for vendors and suppliers. Drive productivity initiatives aligned with organizational and departmental category objectives. Work with stakeholder to execute category negotiation strategies and deliver on KPIs/ Major Initiatives Manage KPIs and monthly reporting.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree*; Supply Chain, Business or related discipline strongly preferred 3+ years in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Commercial Sales; Prior chemical industry experience strongly preferred Ability to manage the strategic sourcing process, to include directly negotiating contracts with vendors Ability to manage a high volume of activity with quick response times Must possess advanced analytical skills, as well organizational, time management, and project management skills All In With Olin Olin is a global leader in chemical manufacturing and ammunition, with a legacy built on innovation, safety, and accountability.
