Operating Supervisor, Steam Distribution

Con Edison is seeking a strong, safety-focused leader to supervise 8 to 12 union mechanics responsible for the operation and maintenance of the steam distribution system. This role oversees workforce scheduling, materials and equipment, regulatory compliance, emergency response, customer service, and maintenance activities while minimizing impacts on city events, traffic, and community operations. The ideal candidate brings excellent communication and leadership skills, knowledge of steam distribution systems, ICS and HAZWOPER First Responder experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
