About this opportunity The Inventory Analyst is a key role within our operations team, based in the USA. In this position, you will oversee and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while managing costs effectively. You will analyze inventory data, forecast future requirements, and collaborate across departments to support a balanced and efficient supply chain — applying strong analytical capabilities to track metrics, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies that could affect productivity and profitability. What you will do Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock is maintained at all times Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies Forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends and historical data Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate timely inventory replenishment Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies identified Prepare and present clear inventory reports to relevant stakeholders Utilize inventory management software to track and report on key metrics Identify and resolve issues related to overstock or stockouts Implement processes to minimize inventory holding costs Partner with suppliers to manage lead times and order quantities Review and update inventory policies and procedures regularly Support new product introductions by planning appropriate initial inventory levels Recommend and drive process improvements to optimize inventory management practices The skills you will bring 1–2 years of experience with inventory management software and ERP systems Demonstrated experience in an inventory analyst capacity or a comparable role Familiarity with forecasting techniques and inventory optimization methods Knowledge of supply chain management principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is considered an asset Why join Ericsson?
