About this role
About the role
The Associate HR System Product Lead – Learning Technology delivers operational excellence and functional support within the HR Systems team, with a focus on the technology that powers Learning & Development at Gartner. Our learning technology landscape is dynamic — today it spans Cornerstone OnDemand, Degreed, AI-powered practice tools, and a variety of role-specific learning platforms supporting a decentralized L& D community. As we work to consolidate and simplify our learning technology over time, this role will support today's portfolio while helping shape what comes next. This role partners closely with our HR Learning Solutions team, L&D program owners, and business stakeholders to administer our learning platforms, resolve issues, and deliver enhancements that improve the learner and administrator experience. The Associate Product Lead gathers requirements, translates business needs into system solutions, and serves as a trusted point of contact for the learning technology portfolio. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in HR or learning technology, strong analytical skills, and a genuine curiosity for how technology can elevate the way people learn and grow. Because our landscape spans multiple platforms and will continue to evolve, we're looking for an adaptable quick learner — someone whose skills travel across systems rather than living in just one.
What you will do
Administer and configure our learning platforms — learning objects and content structures, curricula and assignment logic, events and sessions, notifications, evaluations, security roles, and system updates Partner with business stakeholders and embedded learning administrators to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend system enhancements Serve as a primary point of contact for learning technology inquiries — triaging help desk escalations, troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating with vendors and IT to drive timely resolution Perform quality control across the portfolio, including data integrity audits, mass data loads, and gatekeeping of system standards Write test plans and conduct testing for enhancements, new course rollouts, and quarterly platform releases, coordinating UAT with vendors and stakeholders Build and analyze reports on usage, adoption, compliance, and program health, turning data into recommendations Document processes, system configurations, and user guides; develop knowledge management collateral to support training and onboarding Educate stakeholders and administrators in the proper use of our learning platforms to encourage adoption and increase utilization What you will need 1–3 years of experience in HR technology, learning technology, business analysis, or a related field Hands-on experience administering or supporting a modern SaaS learning or HR platform such as Cornerstone OnDemand, Degreed, or Workday — depth in any one of these (or a comparable platform) is equally valued Working knowledge of learning technology fundamentals: e-learning content standards (SCORM/AICC/xAPI), content management, curricula and assignment logic, notifications, and security/role-based permissions Experience building and interpreting reports, with solid Excel proficiency Strong requirements gathering skills — able to listen to a business need and translate it into a practical system solution Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new applications, software, and tools Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree preferred Nice to have: Familiarity with how learning systems connect to the broader ecosystem — SSO, data feeds, content provider integrations Experience with mass data load tools or LMS audits at scale Exposure to courseware development tools (Articulate, Camtasia, iSpring) or visualization tools such as Power BI Who you are Professionally curious — you genuinely enjoy learning new tools, exploring how
