Who we are looking for We are looking for an individual with good Custody knowledge and a proven track record of dealing with and managing large client relationships in the Custody Department. . Knowledge of financial products, Financial markets, Custody Operations (including market settlements, Global payments, Corporate events, Global sub custody networks) is required. The candidate should be client focused, organised, possess a strong work ethic. What you will be responsible for The CMS Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality custody services to assigned institutional clients, acting as a key coordination point between clients, investment managers, operations, and internal and external support functions. The role combines client service, operational oversight, issue resolution, risk management, and service governance responsibilities to ensure the consistent delivery of custody services in accordance with State Street's control framework and client service standards. The successful candidate will develop strong client relationships, monitor operational performance, identify and escalate risks, and drive timely resolution of service issues while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service and Relationship Management Strong team player who can work on own initiative with minimum supervision Act as a primary contact for designated Global custody clients and investment managers. Manage day-to-day client service inquiries and operational escalations. Coordinate responses in a timely manner across operations, asset servicing, settlements, cash processing, onboarding, fund accounting, and other support teams. Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and service delivery teams. Support the preparation and delivery of client service reviews and governance meetings. Governance and Reporting Prepare management information, service dashboards, and client reporting packs. Support internal governance forums and client service governance meetings. Maintain accurate records of service issues, action items, and client commitments. Contribute to KPI, KRI, and service performance reporting. Assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance activities relating to custody servicing. New Business and Change Management Support onboarding of new funds, clients, and investment managers. Participate in operational readiness activities for new products, markets, and regulatory initiatives. Assist with testing, implementation, and communication activities associated with system and process enhancements. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, client experience, and risk management. Participate in process reviews and improvement initiatives. Support automation and simplification of manual processes where appropriate. Contribute to the
