Job Description

The Sr. Specialist will be a key member of the Ancillary Supply Management (ASM) team and will actively contribute to the ASM strategy, vision, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will help shape operational processes, business partnerships, and system capabilities that support ASM stakeholders, external partners, and the clinical programs we support. The position will play a critical role in the development, governance, optimization, and support of ASM business processes, systems, data, and reporting tools. The Sr. Specialist serves as a business systems leader and subject matter expert, partnering closely with Information Technology, system owners, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, process efficiency, and data integrity. The position is accountable to: Lead and support ASM business systems, integrations, and related technologies utilized directly and indirectly across the organization. Serve as the ASM subject matter expert (SME) for system functionality, configurations, integrations, master data, and business requirements. Identify, communicate, coordinate, and drive the resolution of system, process, and data-related issues. Ensure continuous operational effectiveness through proactive system support, issue management, and process optimization. Partner with Information Technology and system owners to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop business requirements, test strategies, test scripts, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system solutions. Lead initiatives focused on improving data quality, governance, integrity, and compliance through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Create and maintain tools, reports, dashboards, and metrics that support ASM operational execution and decision-making. Support the development, management, and reporting of departmental performance metrics and key performance indicators. Maintain and oversee ASM-specific business tools and reporting solutions. Manage ASM master data and support data governance activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve system documentation, process documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. Contribute to ASM strategic planning efforts and support execution of departmental objectives and priorities. Provide guidance, training, and systems support to internal and external stakeholders. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal business partners, external suppliers, service providers, and system owners. Manage systems-related deliverables, risks, issues, and action plans to ensure timely resolution and successful outcomes. Lead and support ASM and cross-functional projects from planning through implementation. Utilize data, analytics, and operational metrics to identify trends, support decision-making, and optimize business processes. Support compliance reporting, audit readiness activities, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Serve as a key point of contact for ASM systems strategy, business process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree; preferred in Information Technology, Business Systems, Supply Chain, or related field. 3+ years of experience supporting IT, business systems, clinical trial operations, supply chain operations, project management, or related functions. Demonstrated experience working with current technologies, complex business systems, data management, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
