Job Description
We're looking for a Health and Safety Manager, Field (Western Region) to lead Health & Safety initiatives across Western Canada, partnering with operational leaders to reduce risk, drive compliance, and improve safety performance in our Stores. In this role, you'll provide expert guidance, analyze safety trends, support incident prevention efforts, and help translate safety programs into effective store execution. You'll also lead training and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen TJX Canada's safety culture. What You’ll Do: Provide regional H&S leadership across multiple provinces, ensuring consistent execution of corporate programs and expectations. Use data and risk indicators to prioritize visits, audits, validations, and targeted interventions. Partner with operations, HR, LP, and Facilities leaders to strengthen safety culture, support change adoption, and address emerging risks. Lead regional assessments, audits, and serious incident support, escalating systemic issues as needed. Support provincial inspector visits through preparation, participation, and follow‑up.
About You
5-7 years of Health & Safety experience in a multi-site operational environment Proven ability to influence and partner with Regional and District Leaders to drive Health & Safety performance. Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and recommending actionable solutions. Ability to translate Health & Safety programs, policies, and legislative requirements into practical store execution. Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and compliance verification to identify and mitigate risks. Strong communication and coaching skills, with experience guiding leaders through incident investigations and corrective action planning in a fast-paced operational environment.
