What You Will Do
Create and Decompose requirements, define system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team Support system performance analysis, Integration and Test. Conduct tests on optical and electrical components and integrated systems, collect test data, and analyze results to optimize performance. Identify and resolve issues during testing, support system design enhancements, and provide troubleshooting and calibration for ongoing and specialized programs. Communicate with program management, functional, vendors, and customers Perform integration, verification, and validation testing/reporting to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements. Document test results by creating and presenting comprehensive test reports to various stakeholders. Analyze and define how the system works creating use cases Provide engineering support for the execution of a portion of the programs test program including test processes and baseline definition and test architecture design Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program Perform system performance evaluations and in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for new functionality and system enhancements Travel, both domestic and international, to support customer events, not to exceed 25%.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience to include experience with systems engineering, lifecycle, roles and functions, with specific experience in one or more of the following areas: Concept of Operations (ConOps) development, requirements definition and management, functional analysis or interface definition and control. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with system software, system hardware, system requirements, and/or test. Government contract with experience in systems engineering MATLAB, Python, and/or other programing languages. DOORS, Doors Next Gen (DNG), Rhapsody, Cameo, and/or other digital engineering tools. Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or field environment supporting integration and/or verification to ensure the system under test performs
