Assists with the efficient operation of the warehouse by performing the physical and/or administrative tasks of shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality, and prepare orders for shipping with precision • Conduct inventory counts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized, accurate inventory records • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks • Mentor and train less experienced warehouse staff, promoting adherence to company procedures and best practices • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following all safety protocols and standards • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflows and meet productivity goals • Take initiative in resolving issues, adapting to changing priorities, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods • Support other warehouse functions as needed, including loading and unloading trucks Job Requirements: • No diploma required; Basic math and reading/writing skills are needed • 1+ years of relevant work experience Key Skills and Competencies: • Basic computer skills • Must be at least 18 years old • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and order processing • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and procedures • Action oriented and resourceful Position Specific Information: • Travel Requirements: No travel required • Able to Telework?: 5 days in office • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required: Yes • Safety Sensitive Role?: Yes Physical Activity: • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like : Occasionally • Working from heights such as roofs, ladders, or powered lifts: Occasionally • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including awkward or tight and confined spaces: Occasionally • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time: Frequently • Stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, pushing, or pulling: Frequently • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another: Constantly • Adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions: Constantly •
