Industrial Engineer Senior - Level 3

Standard Job Description 
 You will be the Industrial Engineer Senior - Level 3 for the Production Operations team which is responsible for supporting the Marietta Fabrication department and driving analytical improvements. The individual will help the Production Operations team manage production activities using a variety of industrial engineering and EVMS approaches. They will work closely with Industrial Engineering, Production Management, and a variety of Production support functions. This role will work to meet production plans and schedules, create and monitor production health metrics, and maintain work/time standards.

As the Industrial Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for optimizing production processes through analytics, metric monitoring, and cross‑functional collaboration.   Your responsibilities will include: Enhance production activities by implementing analytical techniques and utilizing various data and data‑visualization tools. Improve, automate, and sustain industrial engineering processes. Monitor production health metrics, ensuring timely identification of potential issues and areas for improvement. Develop shop schedules and demand profiles to ensure optimal product flow and throughput. This position is in Marietta, GA.   Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.  Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering (or a related discipline) and 3 years of professional experience as an Industrial Engineer or in support of a manufacturing facility Experience in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables Desired Skills
