Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Material Handler 1st shift in Indianapolis, IN. The hourly rate for this position is 25.00 . What you’ll do: The material coordinators are responsible for verifying material availability, creating work orders, and coordinating customer deliveries to meet customer expectations. Support with all customer inquiries and promise ship dates. Essential Functions · Utilize clear to build / clear to ship reports / ERP system to confirm material availability. · Systematically release work orders to warehouse floor. · Create customer deliveries per schedule and pick up date. · Address various internal and external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs. · Track orders and shipments and assist with tracing as needed. · Work collaboratively with GTM team and support in resolving customer trade inquiries. · Assist with running and summarizing operational reports and details; present information to peers or supervisors as needed. · Investigate and resolve internal customer complaints / discrepancies with shipments and participate in corrective actions to prevent future errors. · Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including good housekeeping. · Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary. · Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain). · Capable of managing multiple tasks without losing efficiency or productivity · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Basic knowledge of WMS and inventory management systems. • Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications. • Ability to communicate potential concerns and or customer delays. • Relocation is not provided. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis, IN will be considered. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. • Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
