Map enterprise buying groups — identifying and engaging the multiple personas typically involved in an automation or AI buying decision (IT, operations, finance, transformation, C-suite). Tell the SS&C Blue Prism story with conviction — positioning us clearly against competitors in a noisy AI/automation market and translating product capability into business outcomes that resonate with each persona. Nurture longer-cycle prospects returned from field or channel sales using multi-touch sequences, and process inbound demand from marketing in line with SLAs. Own your numbers — provide accurate weekly forecasts, hit committed activity levels and maintain disciplined Salesforce hygiene. Run your own desk like a business — manage your time, territory, and account research independently, and use AI tools as a daily force multiplier for research, message drafting, and call prep.
What You Will Bring
0–2 years of B2B business development or sales experience. Strong fresh graduates with the right hunger and aptitude will be considered alongside candidates with prior BDR experience. A hunter mindset. You actively go after accounts rather than wait for leads to come to you — competitive, target-driven, and resilient in the face of rejection. Confidence cold-calling into C-suite and senior decision-makers — you can pick up the phone and have a peer-level, value-led conversation without flinching. Strong discovery and qualification skills — comfortable applying a framework like MEDDPICC, asking sharp questions, and identifying economic buyers, champions, and competition early. Storytelling and value-selling instincts — able to take a complex product (intelligent automation, agentic AI, digital workers) and make it land in the language
