A Day in the Life We are looking for a Manufacturing supervisor to join our manufacturing site in Medtronic Yokneam. In this role, you will lead and support production teams on the shop floor, ensuring daily manufacturing operations run smoothly and meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory targets. You will work closely with operators and cross-functional teams, drive problem-solving and continuous improvement, and help create a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Supervise manufacturing operations to deliver results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory objectives, by leveraging the disciplined use of Medtronic Performance System. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional support teams to drive resolution of abnormalities (5S, EHS risk, quality), including maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain, to drive operational excellence and achieve business goals. Communicate clearly and consistently regarding the team's current state, expectations, and priorities, ensuring alignment across teams and execution of optimized production schedules. Empowering manufacturing operators, reinforcing accountability, and maintaining a strong connection between daily work and outcomes remain essential to sustaining momentum and delivering results. Utilize HR processes to address and manage ethical concerns, absenteeism, and employee performance matters, ensuring alignment with organizational values and policies Ensure execution of the shopfloor transformation roadmap to drive operational excellence and deliver measurable business results Oversee the effective implementation and utilization of Medtronic Performance System (MPS) tools, ensure alignment with established standards to achieve operational consistency and excellence Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering Leadership & team management: Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, fostering a culture of accountability & performance. Problem solving: Critical Thinking, strong analytical skills to identify issues, drive process standardization & optimization (green belt) Strategic and data driven decision making: Ability to analyse complex operational data, assess risk, drive quick consensus & make informed decision that balance quality, efficiency & cost. Proven strong knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and operational excellence principles, with experience in proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains in manufacturing processes.
