Must have a Valid Driver’s License. We have an opportunity for the role of Automation Technical Specialist within our Core Diagnostics division based out of the United States and this is a field-based remote role. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions, from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers. As the Automation Technical Specialist, you'll provide technical leadership for automation hardware implementations within large clinical laboratories. You'll partner with customers and field teams to deploy automation solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and support successful customer outcomes.
What You'll Work On
Serve as the subject matter expert for automation hardware solution implementations within large core clinical laboratories. Lead onsite implementation activities including equipment receipt, site readiness review, equipment placement, assembly, testing, and operational verification. Coordinate implementation projects with customers, project managers, laboratory leadership, local field service teams, contractors, vendors, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Resolve complex technical inquiries and provide advanced troubleshooting support throughout the implementation lifecycle. Apply established procedures and develop practical solutions to address technical challenges and customer requirements. Deliver automation product training and technical guidance to field service personnel during and after implementation. Support post-implementation escalations and provide subject matter expertise for complex automation system issues.
