Who You Are
You'll perform as a Subcontract Management Senior, Staff What You Will Be Doing Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity. AeroSCM Basic Qualifications Bachelor's from an accredited college or university Extensive background with subcontract management of cost, quality, schedule and technical program performance Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) Experience in Aerospace & Defense (A & D) Industry, driving results within a metric based environment Must have an active Secret Security clearance to be considered for this role Desired Skills Experience addressing & resolving complex matters/solutions with Senior Leadership, customers & suppliers Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple overlapping projects, simultaneously Self-starter and willingness to learn Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring new and emerging talent Expertise managing cost-type development subcontracts Negotiations experience, in a Truth in Negotiations (TINA) environment Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
