Reimagine What’s Possible We are looking for a Sales Centre Coordinator . The position is responsible for the management of up to six Sales Centre and Gastaxi operations. This includes providing operational, quality, and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) supervisory leadership across the Sales and Redistribution Centres in the most efficient manner and in accordance with all safety, quality, and service standards applicable within the Sub-Region Merchant organisation. The main responsibility of the role is to coordinate and provide holiday and absence cover for all assigned sites, working in conjunction with the other Sales Centre Coordinators. The position will also be responsible for assisting the Sales & Redistribution Centre Manager with the recruitment and training of new starters, as well as supporting other HR-related activities where appropriate. In addition, the Sales Centre Coordinator will ensure that the Sales Centres, Gastaxi operations, and Redistribution Centres operate in compliance with all legislative and company requirements. Key interfaces include the Agent Support Team, Asset Management Team, Merchant Administration Team, Commercial Team, and Credit Control Team to ensure alignment on best practices and a consistent approach, as well as collaboration with other members of the Sales & Redistribution Centre Organisation. Success in this role depends on strong leadership and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple small sites and teams, excellent organisational skills, and strong operational and technical capability. This role comes with company car. What will you do: Ensuring that company and legislative safety standards are complied with and maintained at all times across all sites for which the role is responsible and conducting quarterly audits to ensure compliance. Supervising the activities of the Sales Centre, Gastaxi, and Redistribution Centre Administrators and Assistants. Managing and planning the annual leave of all personnel under their supervision and providing holiday cover at each site. Providing absence cover where required. Providing HR support to the Sales & Redistribution Centre Manager where required. Completing annual performance appraisals for personnel under their responsibility. Providing training and induction for new starters and ensuring that training records are kept up to date. Ensuring O-Licence compliance across all sites, including truck maintenance, defect reporting, tachograph compliance, and record keeping. Planning and coordinating vocational training for site personnel, including Driver CPC, ADR, HGV refresher, and forklift refresher training, as well as any other required training. Ensuring that all local operational costs are paid in a timely manner. Providing assistance to Sales Centre, Gastaxi, and Redistribution Centre Administrators with truck maintenance activities and ensuring vehicle availability where required. Ensuring that the Basic Safety Process (BSP) is being followed across all sites and completing BSP Level 2 mandatory requirements. Ensuring that periodic driving assessments are planned and conducted, and providing cover where required. Providing the Sales & Redistribution Centre Manager with feedback on the day-to-day operations of the sites as required.
