Design, develop, test, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Azure Cloud Develop and maintain microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions following engineering best practices and security standards Collaborate with product owners, architects, and team members in Agile environments to deliver high-quality software solutions Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions to improve system reliability and performance Participate in code reviews, design discussions, estimation, and sprint planning activities Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and engineering excellence within the team Support adoption of AI-assisted development practices and modern engineering tools to improve developer productivity Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of software engineering experience Solid hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture Experience developing modern web applications using ReactJS Experience with Azure Cloud services and REST API development Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines Experience working in Agile/Scrum team Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Azure OpenAI, RAG, LangChain, Spring AI GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Terraform, Observability Tools Core & Must Have Skills Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS Azure Cloud, SQL/NoSQL, Microservices, REST APIs Agile Development, Software Design, Problem Solving Debugging, Application Design API Development, CI/CD At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
