Job Title Relationship Manager About your role: As a Relationship Manager, you will lead strategic client relationships by aligning products and payment solutions to complex business needs. You will partner across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and operations to shape account strategy, strengthen executive-level partnerships, and deliver measurable revenue growth. Your work helps clients improve payment performance, streamline communication workflows, and increase operational efficiency across their organizations.
What you'll do
Lead strategic relationships, aligning business priorities, payment strategies, and growth opportunities with client goals. Develop and drive enterprise account strategies that expand revenue, strengthen retention, and increase adoption of merchant and payment solutions. Identify, qualify, and advance complex growth opportunities across the portfolio to improve contribution margin, client performance, and long-term partnership value. Lead renewal and contract negotiation strategy for assigned clients, balancing client objectives with financial performance and business risk considerations. Build and sustain relationships with executive and senior stakeholder groups while influencing cross-functional partners to deliver aligned client outcomes. Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and operations teams to shape solutions, remove barriers, and execute portfolio growth strategies. Achieve assigned portfolio goals through consultative relationship management, cross-sell strategy, and disciplined opportunity planning. Assess portfolio trends, client performance, and business risks to recommend actions that improve retention, operational effectiveness, and revenue results. Experience you'll need to have: 12+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, or business development within payments, financial technology, or related financial services environments. 12+ years of experience supporting healthcare and insurance clients, including providers, payors, hospital systems, insurance companies, or benefit administrators. 12+ years of experience growing large client relationships and leading cross-functional strategies to increase revenue, retention, and product adoption. 12+ years of experience in merchant acquiring, biller solutions, omnichannel payments, issuing solutions, or related payment products. Experience using Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management platform for pipeline management, account planning, and client activity tracking. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. Experience that would be great to have: Experience with encryption, tokenization, fraud mitigation, or related payment security solutions. Experience supporting ____ government programs. Experience negotiating commercial terms and contract structures in complex client environments. Experience with host-based systems or financial data processing systems.
