As an Electrical Engineer I , you will be responsible for supporting a development program within the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department . You will be working as a member of a team that is responsible for developing test sets to support a production program onsite under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney, Texas .
What You Will Do
Work in a team environment that will assess production testing design coverage for all levels of test from special test equipment to assembly, test, and verification. Troubleshooting testsets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces and software. Resolution of issues on production support testsets in NTX. Work in a compact range environment or lab environment. Analysis of test data of RF products to make sure test specifications are met. Interpreting, generating, updating, releasing and applying engineering drawings, including testset drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics. Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions. Experience with coding. Knowledge of Matlab, C#, C++, Python. Quick learner and motivated Demonstrated ability to communicate to leadership and colleagues.
