Job Description
Job Summary This crucial role is a dual Project Manager & Scrum Master role, responsible for all activities related to agile project management and strategic program alignment. The role involves orchestrating collaboration among a diverse array of internal and external resources, ensuring the successful delivery of projects in terms of scope, quality and timeline, facilitating Scrum and SAFe even, coaching and supporting teams to operate at the highest level. Our projects cater for the needs of the largest broadcast and media clients globally, this role will serve multi-disciplinary technical projects that possess above-average complexity and extensive scope. Within this role, you will be both responsible and accountable for Co-ordinating Quarterly, Sprint planning, development and execution of software delivery projects. This entails adeptly managing multiple concurrent projects, often with conflicting priorities. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Solution Engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Operations teams to drive successful project outcomes. Moreover, you will foster collaboration across the broader Comcast Technology Solutions business, and our extensive network of partners.
Core Responsibilities
Overseeing the complete project lifecycle to deliver Comcast solutions to customers. Accountable for providing regular project updates to key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure alignment. Developing and maintaining intricate project plans that monitor project delivery, maintain RAID logs including interdependent tasks and projects. Managing cross-functional dependencies, identifying dependency-related risks early, and driving alignment across teams to ensure timely delivery. Steering all internal and external project sessions, meetings, and conference calls to achieve desired outcomes. Producing RAG-rated status reports and maintaining a decision/change log, ensuring governance forums drive decisions rather than status-only updates. Providing concise, decision-oriented updates tailored to business, technical, and leadership stakeholders. Managing scope changes through a defined change control process to protect delivery commitments. Escalating risks and blockers with clear impact framing , not just flagging problems but helping to resolve them before they hit the critical path. Facilitating discussions and driving consensus among stakeholders to enable timely decision-making and remove delivery impediments. Tracking delivery metrics (e.g., schedule variance, milestone adherence, escalation trends) and running lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement across the delivery community.
