Standard Job Description You will be the Quality Control Analyst Asc for the Quality Assurance Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Control Analyst Asc you will be responsible for supporting the development of quality plans, managing quality records, and configuring inspection systems across make‑and‑buy items. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Review and approve production and inspection planning to achieve quality objectives. - Create and manage Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs) and inspection plans. - Configure sampling schemes, acceptance limits, and ensure work instructions meet standards. - Manage quality records control, ensuring traceability and accountability. - Support corrective actions and disposition of recurring product/process discrepancies. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance 2yr Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience Professional experience using standard computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP/MES tools) Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment when making decisions that affect product quality or process compliance Desired Skills Experience configuring and managing inspection data in a Manufacturing Execution System (e.g., Apriso, MPMLink) or Enterprise Resource Planning system (e.g., SAP Production/MRO) Exposure to Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 or AS‑9100, including creation or maintenance of work instructions, inspection plans, or Master Inspection Characteristics Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control techniques applied to production or supplier processes Ability to read, interpret, and apply mechanical/electrical technical drawings, specifications, and associated units of measure (torque, resistance, dimensions, etc.) Familiarity with product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Windchill) and production planning artifacts such as routers, work orders, and bill‑of‑materials structures Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $44500.00 - $82700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
