General Manager 3 - Food

Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager for a high-profile government account located in Northern VA. The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of 2 Traditional Cafeterias.   The General Manager will be responsible for maintaining an excellent client relationship and ensuring high customer service standards. The GM will have full oversight of unit operations while managing one manager and 25 front-line non-unionized employees  About the job In this leadership role, you will oversee daily food service operations, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You’ll guide and develop your team while managing financial performance and building strong relationships with clients and customers to support sustained success. The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team. What you’ll bring     Proven experience in food service management or directorship, preferably in large or complex settings. Leadership skills with a track record of building positive team culture, employee retention, and staff development. Solid financial expertise, including budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis. Hands-on, results-oriented approach with the skillset to support and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and maintain strong client relationships.
