Indirect Commodity Management is part of Seagate’s Global Supply Chain organization. We source the facilities systems, construction, site services and corporate services that keep our manufacturing and non-operations sites running and enable future growth. Our global team partners closely with Facilities, Engineering, Corporate Services team, such as, EHS, Legal, Finance, Sales & Marketing and site leadership across the Americas, EMEA and Asia. The work is highly visible, commercially significant and directly connected to business continuity, factory expansion and technology deployment. Why this U.S. role matters: Based at Seagate’s Normandale campus in Minnesota, this position will lead end-to-end sourcing for Facilities, Construction and Corporate Services across our U.S. sites, including Normandale, Shakopee, Longmont and Fremont. The role will also provide selected global support to Springtown, UK. You will influence a major portfolio of active facilities and construction investments, including complex fab and cleanroom expansion programs. Your sourcing decisions will be visible not only in financial results, but also in the buildings, infrastructure and manufacturing capacity delivered on the ground. Ready to build something tangible? About the role - you will:
Own U.S. category strategy and execution for Facilities, Construction and Corporate Services, from early project planning through contract award, delivery and handover. Lead the commercial strategy for major capital construction programs, including cost estimates, sourcing plans, competitive bids, supplier selection, award recommendations and construction administration. Run disciplined RFPs and supplier evaluations across facilities and corporate services such as maintenance, janitorial, food service, security, water treatment, energy, fitness, EHS, Finance and HR services. Negotiate contracts, statements of work, renewals and extensions that strengthen commercial value, payment terms, risk allocation, liability protection and service performance. Build and manage a rolling multi-year U.S. project pipeline with forecast values, savings targets, milestones and completion dates. Deliver measurable cost, cash, quality, schedule and risk outcomes without compromising operational continuity or project execution. Partner daily with U.S. Facilities, Engineering, EHS, Legal, Finance, site leadership, consultants and contractors to solve issues and keep critical programs moving. Develop strategic supplier frameworks that support future factory expansion, technology deployment and long-term capacity needs. Lead business reviews with critical service providers and drive performance, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. Use digital sourcing platforms, analytics and procurement technologies to improve visibility, compliance, efficiency and decision-making. Present sourcing strategies, recommendations, risks and results to senior site and functional leaders. About you:
