We are looking for a Principal Analytics Business Partner - Customer Success to join our team. This is a hybrid role, reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence in the Customer Success Organization department. At Zscaler, our Customer Success Organization is a global, customer-focused team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer outcomes through data, analytics, and operational excellence. We partner with business leaders to transform data into actionable intelligence that improves decision-making, drives customer value, and enables scalable business growth. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to Customer Success leadership, helping define business priorities, frame complex problems, and translate them into scalable analytics and intelligence solutions while collaborating closely with business leaders, Analytics Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to support the evolving needs of Customer Success.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Lead strategic business partnerships: Build trusted relationships with Customer Success leaders to understand business priorities, identify opportunities, and proactively shape analytics initiatives that deliver measurable business value

• Drive analytical strategy and prioritization: Define problem statements, establish success criteria, and prioritize analytics initiatives based on business impact, balancing immediate needs with long-term scalable solutions

• Translate data into business decisions: Deliver clear, actionable insights that explain what is happening, why it matters, and what actions should be considered, enabling leaders to make informed decisions with confidence

• Lead cross-functional execution: Partner with Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure analytical solutions are aligned, scalable, and successfully adopted across Customer Success

• Advance analytical maturity: Continuously improve KPI definitions, analytical methodologies, and reusable business frameworks while identifying opportunities to leverage automation and emerging AI capabilities to improve decision-making
