Collaborative, innovative, close-knit, quirky, etc. , and values ex. the challenging work, diversity of thought, etc. .  1.Leading a Safety  approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations of the facility to assure a safe and productive work environment free of any liabilities or defects. 2.Develop and manage within the Manufacturing Engineering budget. Monitors Quality and quantity of output of processes; takes appropriate action, including shutdown, to prevent scrap and assists others in investigations to determine causes of process defects,and downtime. 3. Supports in DFM and DFSS in new product development. 4. Designs and develops new manufacturing processes (including equipment specifications to support RFQ process) in line with latest technology advacements within global manufacturing standards. 5.Optimize manufacturing efficiency / lean excellence through flexible manufacturing structure, improvement through Lean Manufacturing methods within operations and optimize production utilization and Strategy.Maintain a culture of functional and Operational Excellence, supports 5S, lean initiatives and to be a committedrole model for our Company’s Beliefs and Behaviors. 6. Develops PFMEA, Process Flow and Work instructions. Manages plant layout to support lean process flow and optimization of total facility footage. 7.Establish and maintain appropriate internal capabilities and strengthen the organization (Succession Planning)through training, career development opportunities and recruiting as necessary to achieve Manufacturing objectives. 8. Adherence to internal and external Business Processes and Certifications synonymous with a large US Incorporation operating within the Automotive Industry and all other local legal requirements.
