Business Resiliency Specialist

The Business Resiliency Specialist is responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of Business Resilience services across assigned accounts and initiatives within the Americas region. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, reviewing, and testing Business Continuity Plans (BCP), supporting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), coordinating resilience exercises, and ensuring alignment with Accenture Business Resilience policies, standards, and contractual obligations. This role operates as a delivery-focused contributor, working under the guidance of senior BRS leads, and interfaces with client stakeholders, delivery teams, and internal functions to ensure resilience requirements are met.

Business Continuity & Resilience Delivery Develop, review, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) in alignment with Accenture policies and ISO 22301 principles. Conduct and support Business Impact Analyses (BIA) for clients and internal initiatives. Support execution and facilitation of BC exercises, including tabletop and scenario-based tests. Track and support closure of actions arising from exercises, QA reviews, and assessments. Client & Stakeholder Support Act as a point of contact for resilience-related topics for assigned projects or accounts. Collaborate with client stakeholders, delivery leads, and internal teams to gather required information and validate resilience assumptions. Governance, Quality & Compliance Support quality assurance (QA) reviews of BCPs and resilience deliverables. Ensure documentation and activities comply with Accenture Business Resilience policies and contractual requirements. Maintain accurate records in Accenture resilience tools and systems (e.g., BRST). Incident & Event Support Provide support during incidents or crisis events as required, including coordination activities and documentation updates. Support post-incident reviews and improvement action tracking. Core Skills Solid understanding of Business Continuity Management concepts and lifecycle. Experience with BCP development, BIA facilitation, and resilience testing. Strong documentation, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in parallel. Professional Skills Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with guidance from senior leads. Attention to detail and strong follow-through on deliverables. Collaborative mindset within global and regional teams. Minimum required education: High School Diploma. Advanced English written and spoken. Experience & Qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience in Business Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk, or related disciplines. Exposure to ISO 22301 or similar resilience frameworks is preferred. Experience supporting client-facing engagements is desirable. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP) are a plus but not mandatory at this level.

Scope & Decision Making Operates within defined BRS frameworks, methodologies, and governance. Escalates risks, issues, and deviations to senior BRS leads. No people management responsibilities.
