The Role
An exciting and challenging position exists as a Program Manager at CoolIT’s head office in Taipei, Taiwan . As a member of the Program Group, you would be accountable for the planning, development and launch of numerous new product introductions (NPI’s) for major datacenter OEM clients.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end leadership of multiple complex and high-visibility NPI programs, ensuring delivery aligned with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements. Act as the primary program leader and escalation point for critical customer programs and strategic initiatives. Lead and influence global cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales) to drive alignment and execution across regions Drive adherence and continuous improvement of CoolIT’s Product Development Process, introducing best practices where needed. Partner closely with key customers and global business teams to shape program direction, support RFP/RFQ responses, and align on expectations. Work closely with global Business Development and Account Managers to respond to customer RFPs and RFQs. Develop and manage complex program plans, including integrated schedules, resource planning, risk mitigation strategies, and financial tracking. Proactively identify program risks and systemic issues and lead cross-functional resolution strategies with executive visibility when required. Establish clear program governance, reporting structures, and performance metrics across multiple concurrent projects. Manage stakeholder interactions and expectations, facilitate effective communication, and maintain alignment throughout the NPI process. Provide clear, executive-level program reporting and recommendations to senior leadership. Mentor and guide junior Program Managers to elevate overall team capability and execution quality. Facilitate customer and internal governance meetings to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability across Global travel required up to 10–20%.
Basic Qualifications
Engineering degree, preferably in an electromechanical discipline 8–10+ years of experience in a product development role or program management within Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale, complex NPI programs in a global, matrixed organization. Extensive experience managing Tier-1 / hyperscale / multinational customers, including high expectations and tight timelines. Experience working with critical and demanding customers from large multinational organizations to provide timely updates and manage expectations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with, influence and manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization, both internally and with customers. Strong ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, driving decisions that impact business outcomes. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and customers. Proven capability in managing program financials, including budget control, cost tracking, and trade-off decisions.
