Due to strategic growth, we are seeking to speak with a Senior level BIM Modeller with a strong Fire/ Hydraulic background to join our National Building Engineering team. This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth. Work in a multidisciplinary design services team providing Fire Protection and Hydraulic BIM modelling services to clients in Defence, Healthcare, Aviation, Education, Commercial and Civil Infrastructure projects. Be responsible for the management of all BIM related data requirements for projects throughout design and construction phases. Work closely with internal BIM Technicians and designers to produce drawings and models to achieve our clients’ goals and key project performance indicators. Produce accurate reports to discuss with the Design manager on each project and work closely with our project controls team ensuring the management systems of projects are efficiently integrated. Use your knowledge of model management, BIM coordination, clash detection and ISO19650 to facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings.

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. Technical qualifications from an approved TAFE or educational institution, or equivalent industry experience, with 5-10+ years' experience in Fire Protection, Hydraulics or Building Services BIM modelling. Ability to chair workshops with BIM project stakeholders demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to create reports and VR presentations to effectively communicate with clients. Prior experience within Hydraulic, Wet Fire Protection or Building Services disciplines is highly advantageous. Demonstrated experience in production high-quality, data rich Hydraulic models and documentation. Advanced Autodesk Revit experience is essential. Previous experience with Revizto, Navisworks, Dynamo and Power BI is highly regarded. Given the nature of the projects, Australian Citizenship is preferred, with current defence clearance highly regarded.
