A Day in the Life As a Strategic Meeting Planning Specialist, you will partner with Medical Education, Marketing, Program Managers, and external vendors to coordinate and execute high-quality medical education programs and events. Leveraging planning tools such as Cvent and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will manage event logistics, attendee experience, travel arrangements, and operational execution while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. This is a fully remote role based in Bogotá, Colombia, supporting U.S.-based events and programs within Cranial & Spinal Technologies Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: · Plan, coordinate, and execute Medical Education and consultative programs aligned with CST business objectives · Partner with Medical Education teams, Marketing, and Program Managers to support educational and training events · Work extensively within the Cvent platform to support meeting planning and event execution · Coordinate attendee logistics, including hotel accommodations, flights, and ground transportation · Source, negotiate, and coordinate services with hotels, vendors, and event partners. · Manage event registration, communications, attendee support, and overall customer experience · Support budget tracking, billing activities, expense management, and vendor payments · Analyse and communicate event performance metrics and reporting as needed · Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery and operational excellence · Travel up to 30%, including occasional weekends, to support events across the United States Required Knowledge and Experience: · 2+ years of experience in meeting planning, event management, hospitality, logistics coordination, program management, customer experience, or a related field · Bachelor's degree preferred; alternatively, an Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or a High School diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience · Fluent English communication skills · Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail · Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional attendee experiences · Proficiency in Microsoft Office application · Experience with event management platforms such as Cvent, Workfront, Concur, or similar tools · Experience coordinating meetings, conferences, training programs, or customer-facing events · Experience managing vendor relationships, travel logistics, and attendee communications · Healthcare, medical device, life sciences, or medical education industry experience · Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skill Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
