The Senior Director, Pharmacy Solutions leads the strategy, adoption, and optimization of oncology drug management initiatives across The US Oncology Network. This role serves as a critical link between enterprise strategy and community oncology practice execution, helping practices navigate evolving clinical, financial, operational, and market dynamics while ensuring safe, sustainable adoption of oncology therapies. This leader oversees a high-performing team of Pharmacy Solutions Directors responsible for strategic practice engagement, portfolio management, and performance optimization. Working closely with physician leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across the GPO, Operations, Finance, Research, Analytics, Technology, Market Access, and Manufacturer Relations, the Senior Director aligns enterprise capabilities with practice needs to advance patient access, improve practice performance, and support long-term economic sustainability. As a trusted advisor to both practices and enterprise leadership, this individual combines deep oncology expertise, drug economics knowledge, and operational leadership to drive strategic decision-making, strengthen Network readiness, and advance pharmacy growth initiatives across the Network. Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a visible and influential oncology leader with a demonstrated ability to translate complex clinical, financial, and market insights into actionable strategies. They possess strong executive presence, lead through influence, and have a track record of delivering measurable outcomes in community oncology, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare strategy environments. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable engaging with physicians, practice executives, manufacturers, payers, and enterprise leaders while developing talent, driving accountability, and leading large-scale strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Drug Strategy & Portfolio Leadership Lead development and prioritization of Network drug strategy initiatives by integrating clinical evidence, physician perspectives, manufacturer pipeline intelligence, payer dynamics, reimbursement considerations, and practice economics. Establish portfolio governance, prioritization frameworks, and performance measures to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Team
Leadership & Development Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of Pharmacy Solutions Directors. Establish clear accountability, performance expectations, and development opportunities to build organizational capability and future leaders. Practice Strategy & Performance Optimization Partner with Network practices to support adoption of strategic initiatives, optimize drug utilization strategies, and improve practice performance. Serve as an executive sponsor for key practice relationships and strategic growth opportunities. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution Collaborate with physician governance groups and enterprise stakeholders to align priorities, remove barriers, and drive enterprise-wide execution. Lead complex, high-visibility initiatives that require alignment across multiple business functions.
